Ellie Fredericks is an exciting young event rider. She has competed up to 4* level, winning Bicton 2* in 2024 and representing Great Britain at Le Lion Young Horse Championships in 2022 and the European Young Rider Championships in 2023. As well as being a competitive eventing rider in her own right, Ellie specialises in developing eventing horses, taking them up through the levels and improving their confidence and ability. She recently produced her project horse, Legende P (Leo) to 3* level before he went to further his career overseas with an Olympic rider.
Ellie is the daughter of Lucinda Fredericks, a winner at Burghley. Badminton and Kentucky, and Olympic silver medallist. Lucinda sold her yard, Rosegarth, in early 2026. After finishing university later that same year, Ellie started a business partnership, Ellie Fredericks Equestrian, and is now running Rosegarth alongside its new owners. She aims to develop Rosegarth into a premier eventing yard, providing excellent livery services and developing event horses, while also furthering her own eventing competition career.
