LIVERYLive was designed by a yard manager who has lived the reality of the industry. We understand the frustration of paper diaries, missed charges, and the exhaustion of spending an entire evening organising invoices. We know what it’s like to get a message about the farrier arriving as he’s driving up the lane and the two horses he needs have already been turned out. Your yard is so much more than just a business – it’s a lifestyle and a community built around your home and the animals you love. Our mission is to give you the tools to take the stress of admin away, so you can spend more time doing what you actually started this for – being with your horses.
THE STORY BEHIND LIVERYLIVE
Horses have been part of my life since I was a child – first loaning ponies, then buying my own, competing locally and balancing the budget working as a groom through my College years.
As a freelance groom I experienced a range of yards, from private yards to international dressage facilities and everything in between. On every yard, I found the numerous ways that clients communicated their requests were fraught with difficulties and open to misunderstandings. I saw that every yard is unique with its own structure and ethos but with the same goals – enjoying time with our horses and keeping everyone healthy, fulfilled and solvent.
At 21 I was offered the management of a 40 horse full livery yard – truly terrifying – and what a rollercoaster of learning that was! LiveryLive was born on that yard as I sought a solution to cut through the muddle and my dream since then has been to provide a tool that works on yards of all sizes and disciplines.
I’m very fortunate now that my working days are very flexible – mostly with horses and always with the App in my back pocket to keep in close touch. This fits well with the three hounds that are never far behind me. Horses, spaniels and labs really do make the best kind of working days.
